About Us

The inspiration behind founding ProjeKt Inspire is to cater the current need of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics teaching resources in schools. To add the practical way of learning that is missing from the current education curriculum used in schools as most of them especially public primary schools are using a theoretical based curriculum which neglects the practicability of the lessons. Our learning approach supports students on understanding the context and science behind a particular phenomenon of the science subjects rather than studying for passing examinations. ProjeKt inspire to adequately prepare teachers with equipped practical knowledge and information regarding STEM to match the current learning demand following a significant growth of technology and industrialization.

Senior Advisor

Dr.David E. Chesebrough

Dr. David E. Chesebrough concluded his 11-year CEO career as President & CEO of COSI in Columbus, Ohio in 2017. In early 2006, after he was involved in building or rebuilding three museums and science centers, Columbus leaders brought in Chesebrough to help revitalize COSI when it was suffering deep challenges publicly and financially. He led the efforts of the COSI team, board and community partners to re-imagine the organization in a new 320,000 square foot building as a 21st century science-, technology- and research-rich "center of science." By the end of his tenure, COSI had been completely re-opened, renovated and was financially strong. Extensive school outreach (one of the largest in U.S), partnerships and embedded STEM activities, like working research labs, enabled COSI to impact almost 1 million users/year towards the end of Dr. Chesebrough’s tenure. When Chesebrough retired, COSI was well positioned as the anchor for a major urban redevelopment project. It was once again seen as a national and international science center leader and top community asset. Notable institutional recognitions included COSI being named the #1 Science Center in the country for families by Parent's magazine, winning the international Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) Leading Edge award for Innovation, and COSI being chosen to host the international ASTC conference in 2012 to highlight it's "center of science" model. Chesebrough received numerous personal recognitions, including selection by Columbus CEO for its 2013 CEO of The Year award and ASTC’s international Roy L. Shafer Leadership Award in 2016 (at the end of his six years on the ASTC board and Executive Committee). Chesebrough Solutions LLC Chesebrough is widely known internationally as a speaker, workshop leader and writer on new models of science centers, operational self-sufficiency for non-profits, strategic partnerships and museum turnarounds – all based on his research and executive success in each area. Prior to serving as President and CEO of COSI he led the turnarounds at the Buffalo Museum of Science/Tifft Nature Preserve and Roberson Museum & Science Center/Kopernik Space Education Center. Earlier, he was part of the leadership team that designed and opened Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Science Center. Dr. Chesebrough completed his nationally recognized research on partnerships and earned his doctoral degree in educational leadership at Duquesne University. Chesebrough has “been there and done that” over his three decades in the museum field. Prior to his successful non-profit career, he was a leading STEM educator and a pioneer, entrepreneur, author and national leader in educational technology -- assisting schools and technology companies like Apple Computer to effectively integrate computers into learning. Chesebrough established Chesebrough Solutions LLC at the end of his CEO career as an advising, coaching and consulting business focusing on helping non-profit and museum leadership (executives and Boards) achieve what he has coined as “great, sustainable impact.” He has supported leaders of non-profits that are engaged in areas as wide ranging as natural history museums, educational STEM initiatives, and science centers. He is pleased to now bring his extensive international expertise, experience and connections to his role as Senior Advisor to ProjeKt Inspire.
