Community event
Parents and Rotary Club of Bahari members experienced the practical activities that make STEM learning engaging for children.
Projekt Inspire welcomed parents and members of the Rotary Club of Bahari to STEM Park After Dark in Dar es Salaam. The event invited adults to explore the same practical activities children experience during STEM Park programmes.
Through demonstrations and guided challenges, guests saw how play, experimentation, and teamwork help learners understand STEM concepts. The experience also strengthened connections between families, community partners, and our science centres in Dar es Salaam and Tanga.
School programme
Students strengthened collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving through project-based STEM activities.
Projekt Inspire delivered a practical STEM session at Feza Primary School, giving students opportunities to investigate ideas through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics activities.
Learners worked collaboratively, applied critical thinking, and developed solutions connected to challenges in their communities. The session demonstrated how hands-on, project-based learning can build confidence and prepare students for a changing world.
Past opportunity
A week-long experience brought together young people from across Tanzania to develop ideas, projects, and future-ready skills.
Applications opened for STEM Youth Boot Camp 8, a week-long programme for young people from different regions of Tanzania who were eager to explore STEM.
Participants joined collaborative sessions that developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills. They also presented innovation ideas and projects designed to address challenges in their communities. This opportunity was published in May 2024 and is now part of our news archive.
STEM Park Tanga
A visiting university group introduced learners in Tanga to artificial intelligence, its applications, and related career paths.
Visiting university students joined Projekt Inspire at STEM Park Tanga to support educational sessions for primary and secondary school learners in the region.
The sessions focused on artificial intelligence, introducing learners to foundational ideas, everyday applications, and possible career pathways. Practical discussion helped make an emerging area of technology more understandable and relevant.

SEGA Secondary School students spent a day investigating STEM ideas through interactive activities and guided exploration.
Students from SEGA Secondary School visited a Projekt Inspire STEM Park for a day of hands-on learning and exploration.
Interactive activities encouraged learners to investigate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in practical ways. The visit was designed to strengthen curiosity, confidence, and awareness of future STEM learning and career possibilities.
