Introducing the Rising STEAM Stars
Rising STEAM Stars is a program that provides an engaging platform for children to participate in fun and integrated hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) activities to boost creativity and innovation, thus inspiring children into STEM careers at a tender age. This program is an expansion of our Toto Tech program that we have been running since 2015 October.
Additionally, Rising STEAM Stars aims at show children how science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics can be integrated in daily lives, thus inspire them to further pursue STEM fields when they grow up.
This program is one of its kind different from other programs since it focuses on creating a hub which breeds innovation and steering the spirit of technology and creativity at a tender age to the young Tanzanians. Different from the currently existing programs like innovation hubs that works with youth, Rising STEAM Stars introduces the concept and opportunities in innovation and technology to children, hoping that when they grow up particularly with interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics; they will join the community of existing innovators in the country.
Activities are conducted twice every month to allow more students to participate. You can register for either the mid-month or end of month session.
