Imaculate Mosha is a Tanzanian student studying Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Cape Town(UCT), South Africa under Google scholarship. Prior to that, she attended Marian Girls’ High School in Tanzania where she was the best student nationally in Form Four national exams and was the fifth best in Form Six national exams. Imaculate enjoys teaching and mentoring. She has been a Department tutor for Computer Science and Engineering courses at UCT, a mentor, a volunteer tutor for Golden Future Project, an education transformation organization in South Africa. In addition to that, Imaculate is passionate about technology and getting more girls in technical fields. She has spearheaded various technical programs at her University such as the Google Student Ambassador program, the Women In Computer Science Society and won various programming competitions. In 2014, she received scholarship from Facebook to attend the Grace Hopper Conference, and in 2015 she also attended the conference through a Google scholarship. She aspires to use technology to solve Africa’s problems. In addition to founding Projekt Inspire, she is involved with Inspire Tech by generating ideas and securing sponsorship.
